Job Description

Primary support to customer service, directs technicians, plans & schedules jobs/maintenance, oversees and /or completes assigned duties as necessary; is an example to customers and fellow employees for professionalism, attitude, and customer service.

  • Must have 7+ years in HVAC Service with a Journeyman qualification or equivalent documentation
  • Respond to and resolve higher level complex service calls and client problems
  • Assist Dispatch in the management of the reactive workload
  • Insure prompt, effective response for all Service Calls in their assigned area
  • Supervise the technical performance of work performed by subordinates
  • Assist / train other technicians in proper service techniques and procedures
  • Enforce adherence to policies outlined in Company Handbook
  • Maintain daily interaction with the Field Manager on all work in progress
  • Participate in performance reviews of lower level technicians
  • Work with the Field Manager to control estimated hours on quotes
  • Estimate service work in the field, arrange for technical assistance as needed
  • Maintain proper tool inventory to perform job duties in an efficient manor
  • Set the standards for lower level field personnel thru personal example
