Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, maintenance and troubleshooting HVAC systems in an efficient and professional manner while delivering the best quality service and contributing to the profitability of the organization. The daily scope of work includes the following: properly checking electrical connections, thermostats, system operations and the overall condition of the unit before troubleshooting, replacing and performing applicable repairs. The incumbent is expected to be meticulous in reviewing, completing and turning in paperwork related to completed service calls in a timely manner.

Skills The ideal candidate should possess complete knowledge and understanding of commercial HVAC systems equipment, pneumatic control systems, and mult-zone and building automation systems. Excellent negotiation skills, presentation skills, verbally and written are required in making suggestions and identifying opportunities to upgrade customer’s systems.
Inter-relationships Team environment, daily contact with vendors, customers, building engineers and technicians.
Working Conditions Punctuality is required. Occasional overtime may be needed.
Needed Attributes

Consistent execution of managing time, multi-tasking, and possessing the desire to produce results in a deadline driven environment. A CFC license is required. A Journeyman or Masters license required. A valid drivers’ license is required. Calvert Jones adheres to an aggressive safety program.
